Peter L’Esperance is the Founder and President of Solar Schools Canada. Peter is an Associate at the law firm McInnes Cooper. Peter founded and led the Carbon Consultancy project, generating $28,500.00 to install a 3.44 kW solar panel system at Dalhousie University in August 2017. He also founded and led the Row the South Shore project in 2013, generating funding and awareness in support of the Nova Scotia Nature Trust.
Nicole Chisholm is a Director of Solar Schools Canada. Nicole is a teacher and counsellor at the Halifax Regional School Board. Nicole focuses on leveraging school-based renewable energy projects to enhance education and complement curriculum outcomes.
Sarah Walsh is a Director of Solar Schools Canada. She is an Associate at the law firm Stewart McKelvey, where she pursues a variety of areas including commercial litigation and environmental law. She was involved in the Carbon Consultancy Project, which successfully generated funds to install solar panels at Dalhousie University. With a passion for sustainable environmental practices, Sarah is committed to ensuring the success of renewable energy projects and dedicated to sharing the educational aspects of these projects with students.
Liam O’Rourke is the CEO of LakeCity Works, an organization based out of Dartmouth Nova Scotia which supports people with mental illness to build on their strengths, take on responsibilities and access work experience, education and employment.
